Each year, The McDonald's Kanga Cup is hosted by Capital Football (the ACT equivalent of Football NSW) and sanctioned by Football Federation of Australia. It is the most prestigious youth tournament of its kind to be currently operating within Australia, is the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere and one of the biggest tournaments in the world.

This year, our 12/1's travelled to Canberra to participate, playing 6 games in 5 days, to finish top of their group. The boys did extremely well in the competition but unfortunately lost the Grand Final of the Under 12 Plate to Sandringham Lighting (a Melbourne Club). Well done to the boys for a great week and also a big thanks from the Coach and Manager to all the parents, families and supporters for making the week such an enjoyable one.

Camden "Tigers" Soccer Club
Camden "Tigers" Soccer Club has provided organised football for Camden’s youth since 1961. More recently, the standard of competition has grown to include Youth League (U/13’s to U/18’s), M-League and State League (Division 1) run under Football NSW, whilst still providing graded local competition through the Macarthur District Soccer Football Association for Mini's (U/6 – U/8), Youth (U/9 to U/16) and Senior Levels (U/20’s to All-Age, Over 35's and Over 45's).

Even though our Club has two distinct parts (Local Competition and Representative Level), all players, no matter what age, are part of one great Club.

Camden Tigers is the only Club in the Macarthur area that has a player development structure that allows talented players to progress through the junior ranks, into Youth League and finally senior level.

Each year between 45 and 50 teams take to the fields wearing Camden Tigers colours.

The objectives of the Club are to promote football and social activities for Members of the Club and maintain the highest possible standard of sportsmanship and fair play.

Our Club was also successful in receiving funding from NSW Sport and Recreation. Further funding and continued support from Camden Council has assisted our Club with improvements to the following areas:
  • Irrigation to Main Field, Field 2 and 3
  • Training lighting to the grounds.
The next exciting phase will update Field 1 to State League Division 1 standard, bring lighting to fields 3 and 4 and a new clubhouse!
You can find our clubhouse and upgraded playing fields at Ron Dine Reserve, Cowper Drive, Camden South.

Any queries about joining our club should be directed towards our Club Secretary.
Should any link not be in working order we would ask that you please notify our Web Master.
