Camden Tigers FC Local Football (MFA Competition)

The 2019 football season is just around the corner and you have come to the right place for all the information that you will need to register to play in the new season for Camden Tigers FC.

2019 is also the year of the Women’s FIFA World Cup and with the Women’s game growing our local Association (MFA) have encouraged all the Clubs to create more ALL girls sides so that new competitions can be introduced.  We would love to see some all girls MiniRoo sides and also have enough girls to create U13s and U15s girls teams to compliment our U12s, U14s and U16s sides.

Please note:  The Club is run by volunteers and each team will be asked to provide a Coach and Manager from a parent/s from the team.

NSW Government Active Kids $100 Rebate Program

As of 1st January 2019, parents and carers of school-aged children enrolled in an approved sport or fitness activity can receive a $100 voucher to put towards registration and participation costs for that calendar year.  Children enrolled in school from Kindergarten to Year 12 will be eligible for an Active Kids Voucher.

Parents can now download their vouchers from the Service NSW website and use it towards their child’s Camden Tigers Registration Fee.

NOTE: You must claim your Active Kids Voucher from the Service NSW website before completing player registration as you will be asked to provide voucher number during registration process.  The system will check the validity of the Active Kids Voucher live and apply discount immediately.

Self Registration

Online self registrations will open on 5th January 2019!

Football Federation Australia (FFA) have implemented a brand new National Registration System.  All player, coach, manager and volunteer data has been transferred to the new system except for ID photos.  All registrations will require a new ID photo to be uploaded as part of the registration process.  Please take photo using guidelines below before commencing online registration.

Photo image guidelines – please ensure:
– Photo is a passport style image
– Head faces camera directly with full face in view
– No hats or sunglasses are to be worn in the photo
– Photo was taken within the last 12 months
– Photo is clear and legible with appropriate lighting
– Under 5 MB in size
– File type of .PNG or .JPG

In Person Information and Assistance Sessions

Need help registering?  Please attend one of our in person information and assistance sessions to be guided through the process:

  • Thur 17th Jan – 6:30pm to 8:30pm – Clubhouse
  • Sat 19th Jan – 9:00am to 1:00pm – Clubhouse
  • Tues 22nd Jan – 6:30pm to 8:30pm – Clubhouse
  • Thur 24th Jan – 6:30pm to 8:30pm – League Zone Sports, Gregory Hills
  • Sat 2nd Feb – 9:00am to 1:00pm – Clubhouse

 

Registration Fees

2019 registration fees include all match fees.

  • U6/7 – $250*
  • U8/9 – $260
  • U10/11 – $270
  • U12-U18 – $350
  • AA Ladies/Men – $470
  • ML1, ML2 and Womens ML – $495
  • ML3 – Fees based on age of player
  • Over 35s – $470

 

*U6 – includes shorts and socks for new registrations

Player/Team Grading

Grading is an important process that is required to place players from U12s and above (Competitive teams) into the correct competition / Division.  The Grading Sub Committee (made up of experienced coaches) will run exercises, small sided games and full sided games to evaluate player’s skills to place them into teams of equal ability.  Grading will also be used to select players for our Development Teams.

Mini Muster day

Mini Muster Day is where all our MiniRoo U6 to U11 players are placed into teams for the up coming season.  Please make every effort to attend your age groups session as this will give you a better chance in being placed in a team of your choice.  The Club will make every effort to try and place players with their family and friends but it is not always possible.

Date:  Sunday 10th February 2019

Venue: Club House, Ron Dine Memorial Reserve, McCrae Drive, Camden South

Times:

9:00 am – U6 Players

10:00 am – U7 Players

11:00 am – U8 and U9 Players

12:00 noon – U10 and U11 Players

 

Coaches and Managers

Nominate your 2019 minis (U6 to U11) team here. Please note, all players MUST be registered before Mini-Muster on February 10th. The Club makes every effort to keep players together but reserves the right to make changes where necessary. Teams that are under the maximum size for their age group may have additional players added to them so that as many children as possible are able to play at Tigers.

ALDI MiniRoos Football

ALDI MiniRoos Football is for boys and girls aged from 5-11 who wish to learn a fun and safe sport. ALDI MiniRoos is a nationwide initiative which uses short, game-based sessions to help kids of all abilities learn new skills, become active and make life-long friends.
Players wanting to play ALDI MiniRoos Football at Camden Tigers can play with friends if there is a spot in an existing team or can be placed in a new team.

Existing Team

  • Players that were in a Camden Tigers Team in 2018 – Please contact your 2018 Coach/Manager to secure your spot in the same team

 

New Team
